I make my own and it's no big secret that there just aren't that many female homebrewers. I get the "little lady" or the "so you wanna make some beer missy" treatment when I go to buy my ingredients and when I tell people that I make beer, men are usually incredulous that I like beer at all. When I tell them I like the more complex serious beers they don't know what to think. Recently I had to call a brew company with a question and it turns out the brewmeister is a woman who was super cool and friendly and stoked to talk to another female brewer. I want her job. Really.
Anybody else brew at home?
