I am fine but I was involved in a hit and run accident this afternoon while going to school. DS was thankfulyy not in the car and everyone says it is a miracle I was able to walk away from the accident. Below are two pics DH took when he got to the scene. They made me go to the hospital to be sure & after x-rays, scans & ultrasounds they let me go home. I'm very grateful and feel like the luckiest person alive, just somewhat sore. Witnesses say that the driver came up quickly behind me & when he tried to pass me on the right he clipped me. I was sent flying into the median, where they say I flipped 3-4 times, hit the opposite guard rail, flipped again and came to rest further down on the guard rail. I am just so grateful no one else hit me and that I didn't go into the oncoming traffic. It was a scary day & will fortunately only involve a few days of recovery. Oh, also, a witness did identify the license plate of the guy who hit me & the last that I spoke with the police they were going to his home. I feel badly that he made such a bad decision and made things much worse for himself than they needed to be. yeah, you haven't been back. i'd like to know you're still ok. i know it's only two days, but still.
I am so glad you are ok! You must be so shaken. you're safe, at home, i'm sorry that this happened to you. words aren't enough right now - you need lot's of TLC, rest - i mean it, help, TIME, and most of all the reminder: YOU are safe now. in your home, with your family and friends. we love you so much! you are a sister/friend to me, please hold tight. i love you - i'll wish you this and it will come true: no more soreness, no sleeplessness, no worries. man/idiot/jerk caught, he's going to jail, he's wanted/has a warrant. he can't do this to anyone else. EVER. take your time, you need to heal. no broken hearts or bones - please update us when you're ready. love always, dc slayer of giants, bad things, monster's and other shit! Big vibes to get well fast. and vibes -- fast healing take care, mama, and I am SO glad you are ok. Don't be afraid to see docs for pain and make sure you get good treatment. that must have been so scary. thank goodness you are okay, and that your son was not with you. we're thinking about you!
That sounds like a nasty ride. Take care of yourself today. Once the adrenaline stops and the soreness settles in, you will feel every bump and flip of that car.
So, so scary....I am so glad you are ok. I shiver to think of all the "what-ifs". I'm so glad you are OK! that must've been sooo scary!! we've got to let love rule This is such a terrible thing to happen to anyone! I am glad to hear that you are ok, and that the injuries are minor, thank heavens you are still in one piece. I send you hugs and healing vibes cordie! But it is so fortunate you are ok!! Maybe you can see a chiropractor? That guy should be grateful that nothing happened to you. omg! i just got goose bumps so bad. i cannot imagine how terrifying this must have been. so glad everyone's okay. omg...get some rest and relaxation...blessed! What a blessing that you're ok! and that ds wasn't in the car. my god. Please absolutely go and get some bodywork--insurance should cover it--cranial sacral, massage, somatic experiencing; your body must be holding trauma even if you're (thankfully) not registering it. Keep us updated! how scarey!!! i am so glad you are ok!! take it easy... you may have some nasty back/neck pains come on in the next few days. my mom flipped her jeep and thought she was fine until a few weeks later. if you need anything at all just let me know!! So quiet down cobwebs, Dust go to sleep! whoah, the picture looks scary enough, but the fact that you flipped a bunch of times to get there is really freaky.

SO glad you are safe, mama! I was in a rollover a few years ago. It is very scary. Let yourself get some rest and time to process. Big hugs. I am so glad you are OK and the kiddo was safe.
i am so glad you're safe and your babe wasn't in the car. i hope you will have time to relax and recoup! i just thought as i was looking at the pics again, wow it's a good think you were wearing your seatbelt. and i am complete idiot, i never remember to put my seatbelt on, but your accident might just be a wake up call for me--i am never going to be prepared to be in an accident, somehow in my mind i think i will have an opportunity to prepare for impact, so not true i am an idiot. what an ass i am for thinking this way and putting my life in danger everyday on the highway and not potentially taking myself out of my daughter's life! wow, thats crazy. you did get lucky. I bet he was unisured and had no license, thats why he left. I feel bad for him, too. But I wouldn't if you were hurt. I hope this doesn't financialy mess you up somehow. Gosh, thats so scary. Flipping? I would've had a heart attack, I am so happy that your baby wasn't with you. Oh my word!! So, so glad you aren't injured! So sorry this happened, rest up and take care of yourself. Make sure you take it easy for a few days. so glad you are okay. i was clipped and in a 5x rollover about 7 years ago. it was so horrifying. i still get spooked when i drive sometimes. i hope they find the other asshole driver. hugs. I am so glad you are okay, I can't believe you flipped over so many times and made out virtually unscathed (from what it sounds like physically). Bless your heart, take it easy and thinking of you. My life was LITERALLY saved by a Born Again Christian once, he dragged me out of the lake after my car sank and asked me if I accepted Jesus as my personal savior.
I said "I'm not sure about Jesus, but you certainly are."
I felt like I was tripping for days after that!!!
Take it easy- you could have a hidden back injury, it's hard to tell right away sometimes....
