Does anyone have any ideas for making some quick money, like today? Here's what I have so far:

Sell stuff (books, clothes, housewares) at resale shops
Sell plasma
Look for payed research opportunities

sell baby stuff or furniture you don't need anymore on craigslist. start looking around your house, you'd be surprised what people will come and get!

Okay, so I read this post and went to the link you provided to check it out, but I had to go somewhere so I didn't get to really explore it.

I come back tonight and the address cannot be found? Something has happened in the last few hours. Are you sure this is legit? I'm so confused!!!

I've been on hipmama more than 4 years. I promise I wouldn't scam anyone here. Just trying to help!

I got paid for my first little job there, like the funds are actually transferred to me. I haven't done one of the longer ones yet. I'm still very excited that you posted this, bc it's really stimulating fun side work.

I've never heard of this! Do you do it? Is it legit and worth it?

Submitted by nomad on Wed, 01/23/2008 - 7:08pm.

Definitely legit. It's the same amazon as the one you would order books from.
I don't have time to do it now, but last summer I was making about $80- $100 a week, just working on it when I had the chance a few hours a week.
All I did was the higher paying transcriptions and the research questions, but there are plenty of things to choose from. Sometimes the pay is instant, as soon as you do the task- then you just transfer it to your bank account.

Oh my gosh, thank you for this recommendation. We totally need money around here. DH & I are both going to do it. It's really easy so far. I read all the info on that link you sent, all I had to do was sign in to my Amazon account, and then just peruse the choices. I picked one where I had to call a number and tell a Valentine's story from my past, for $3.50, then send a short message confirming the time of my call & a summary of my story. I can see how doing a bunch of these random things would make the $ add up. I'm excited! This is just the kind of easy thing that i can do to chip away at our debts. Thanks nomad Smiling

Whenever I'm low on money I sell CD's. I try to make sure I've burned a copy into my computer first, but you'd be amazed at how much you can get for CD's. I made $100 once!

Also, you could always try one of those payday loans, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you were REALLY needing it bad.

Yeah, I did that last time I was broke. I'm worried I'll get carried away and sell too many, then be sad when I have money again. But I guess you're right about the burning thing.
