I do too and when I meet one I am always shocked and surprised. I think the person is joking. I have been know to repeatedly ask "really? no, really? Really?" It's crazy. And there are some in my husband's family. WTF? I mean how can that really be? I can't imagine.
People actually...*agree* with huckabee? Huh?
I want to find my likeness' with people--but sometimes it's just too hard.
parents, brothers, sister-in-law. Die hards. Like both my brothers have the same 8x10 of Ronald Reagan prominently displayed in their homes. I think sometimes that I was dropped out of the sky from a UFO because I can't belong to that family.
Oh, and did I mention both bosses and half the people I work with? It freaks me out.
My sister refers to me (and anyone who didn't vote dubya) as Demmy-craps.
That's how much of my family is.
in fact i can't think of any republican who surprised me at the moment, but i am sure there must be a few. but usually it's quite predictable.
now, what about mccain? you hate him?
I can listen those assholes on the radio. I'll read about what they said. But hearing AND seeing those guys at the same time for more than a few minutes makes me too ill. I also couldn't watch Bush deliver a speech for the same reason. I'll read the text, but, sweet Maude, I can't stand to watch much of that bumbling fool!
So, did you have a Republican favorite, or, rather, a least favorite? I find them all equally scary. *shuddder*
The whole ABC New Hampshire debate makes me a bit ill. To borrow a line from Melissa Etheridge, the "ABC debate is nothing but an infomercial." Kucinich failed to meet the "network's criteria"? What a load of crap!
My family is full of them. I am such a black sheep. My brother is supporting Huckabee on his blog because of his social conservatism. What does that mean? The most important thing for our president to have a position on, in my intelligent brother's mind, is gay marriage??? It is so hard not to shower his blog with seething comments, but I have lived with a family full of this nonsense my whole life, and I need to have civil holidays with these people.

I was glad when they were over & I could watch the dems talk about the *REAL* issues.
