My little son turned three today. I am so excited and shocked that he is so old and very I'm emotional, of course. He is such a kid now.
We bought an old wood play kitchen and remodeled it for him a bit (paint, fixed it, my husband added real non working burners instead of painted on burners) and he is madly in love with it.
What an amazing thing this is to be a parent.
We were driving in the car today and I asked him what his favorite animal was and he said "a big horse with a beard and a nose and ears and he is huge and brown and has a face and he is eating food I gave him and I put my hand on him and it made him happy".
