did he have anything to sell? seriously, what i remember about him is the tv show, which was really good, but wasn't all of the funny shit on there larry david? i'm not trying to be mean, i am just trying to remember the show. i wasn't a fan of his standup at all, even the bits featured in the show. and didn't that show famously sell out by accepting a record amount in product placement money? i seem to remember that being in the news quite a bit when the show was on. and how they would actually write mentioning the products into the dialog for cash. not that they were the only ones to do it, but that they did it so unabashedly.
I still love him. lol.
Seinfeld makes me all warm and tingly.
whenever I watch it I crave beefarino though.
Just kidding.
sell what out?! this is the dude who had the zoning laws changed in long island so he could build a garage big enough to house his porsche collection. because the 12 car garage already on his $30 million estate wasn't big enough. he's just never screamed 'anti-commercialism' to me, so pitching for mickyD's while his wife similtaneously shills a book on cooking healthy for kids just doesn't feel like that big of a disconnect to me.
I agree her methods were not brain surgery, but her recipes were plagiarized?
.
this woman? Is Jerry's wife Jessica? I can't keep any of this straight
I am swisterland...switzerland? fuck it, I am swiss.

ooh, two similar cookbooks came out within months of each other. big deal. i read a story debunking the "plagerism" claim saying there's no way mrs seinfeld could have read the other book, pitched it to her publisher, re-wrote it, had it published, printed, and marketed within that time line. the recipes aren't identicle, but they are similar and have the same theory behind them. not a big deal, imo. because every discussion i've seen and heard around this cookbook, it's clear that mothers have been doing this sort of thing for a very long time. i think the other cookbook writer is peaved because she didn't get invited to be on oprah to push her book. so it goes.
pushed through the distribution window of fast food, etc.
jack in the Box
Burger King
McD's..
They all bid to get the account right from the conception of film.
It is funny that his wife has a best seller on nutritious feeding for kids (which I bought) and his Bee movies slurps Big Macs.
