3 years!

We made such a nice 3rd birthday for M today. After breakfast we opened presents. Then her friend came over for a playdate and we took them to Kiddie Acres, this toddler amusement park. She had a little buddy to ride with on the ponies and the merry go round and the mini ferris wheel, the trucks, boats, and airplanes, and the train. We got a taste of life with two kids for a few hours. Then we played some more on the back deck in the nice cool weather. We topped off the night with pizza and some games at Chuck e ch**se. In between stuff she played with her new toys. It was a day filled with her favorite things and places. She was really tuckered by the end. I'm really tuckered, or I'd go into more detail.

I'm so proud of how smart my big girl is. How happy she is. How she came out of me 3 years ago today, as I'm on the cusp of giving birth to a new child in a few weeks. How sweet and affectionate, surprising, funny, and creative she is. I love her. Happy Birthday, darling girl.
