but staying on our cute little island.
The house seems great, big yard and more private, but right next to friends. I am pretty excited though we don't move for about 20 days. We have what seems like a lot of room , though it's weirdly arranged...utility room (who knows what to do with that?), carport (I want to use it for a covered kid-play area for the rainy ass winter), a biggish kitchen (very excited, our last three have been glorified hallways and I cook every day, a lot), a dining room that is largish that I hope to use for a hanging - out room too, a smallish living room that will be "living" and my husband's office/music area, a bathroom, tons of closets and a bigger bedroom (sleeping for all of us) and a smaller bedroom for me to have my computer, project stuff, big table and Bep's toys on the other half of the room. And we can have a garden if we put one in. A big one. Vegetables everywhere. Plus there are berries and fruit trees on the part of the property we share (beyond the yard, about 10 acres or more) and chickens and goats at our friends house. Bep is thrilled with the animals.
I am making linguini tonight with my new used pasta roller machine thingy. I am a little tired from all of the kneading (beats tired from needing).
Having found our dog a new home where he is happy is a relief and not having him here has been great, I hate to say. I am glad he is happy and we are all much happier here, me because the house is cleaner and i am not worried about toddler boy and my husband because the house is cleaner, my son is probably not happier, but he is fine about it for the most part (but he isn't getting hurt all the time, so he's less unhappy) and our other dog is still having a hard time but is thrilled at all of the attention she gets now and being more included in the family. She's a poodle (standard) so she doesn't shed, is low impact and is getting spoiled like crazy.
Good for you! What island are you on? We have been thinking about a trip to Bainbridge before the weather turns...
