Thrive
1. To make steady progress, to prosper.
2. To grow vigorously, flourish.

***the United States is one of only four out of 168 countries studied to not have some form of paid family leave for new moms. We join Swaziland, Papua New Guinea, and Lesotho in not having that policy in place. ***
great question, but if I knew the answer I'd be doing it! But what did pop into my mind was I wanna learn to sew!!!!
I am always growing and changing and learning as I grow. Thriving can be a painful and scary experience because it can mean cutting off the dead weight in your life, or forcing your mind to consider new ideas and ways of being, or even finally, finally, picking off the old scabs of ancient wounds. But it is always worth it. One of my greatest fears is a stagnant life. I want a life filled with fresness, joy, and hope, and that's what I strive for. I learned long ago that happiness is a choice. I choose to be happy and with that comes thriving.

thank you for posting this thread, sam!
i might be and not even know it.
so many changes in such a short time, my personality self is still trying to play catch up!
this is what i would consider "good" right now:
1. being able to go back to school. still sitting on the fence & waiting for the acceptance call from seattle central. this would be a great first step.
2. having this mother bank rolled, i need all the financial aid & loans i can get.
3. working for "skrills" on the D.L. or better yet, minimally. don't want a full time J.O.B. during my k-nowledge years!
4. getting back to basics.
5. opening up to all of life's possibilites.
6. staying on course.
7. new map, new direction.
8. motherhood in solid bits n' pieces.
uh, that's it for now!
