a midnight ho with harry, hedwig and cho

aka dean, mecah and maria
we attended the library's harry potter extravaganza. fun, fun, fun.
visits to classrooms where we took our o.w.l's and n.e.w.t's, practiced potions, divination, met some owls in care of magical creatures, played some wizard chess, ate food in the great hall, and had the first chapter of the 7th book read to us by a local meteorologist.
there were so many people, some in costume like us! and many not, but everyone enjoying the night!

I can't believe Mecahs little owl costume. Too cute and cool! We took our kids to a midnight sale party at my friends bookstore last night and it was too fun. We made wands and "potion drinks" and the kids wore capes.
Thanks for sharing your pictures. Too bad we didn't live closer so we could've attended together.Smiling

dean was potter times ten, i loved the glasses & the cape! mec is so beautiful & strong! her face mask was precious! thanks for posting these pics, i always love the layouts! i'm taking my kids tomorrow to go see the movie before i head back into work!

i decided to do it because

i decided to do it because of the little girls i nanny-ed for last summer, they were planning on donating and asked if i wanted to do it with them. then i just looked up the organization online and followed their instructions. Smiling painless and it got me a new summer do.
