left mecah with the grandparents for the first time since nov 11!!! this is huge. she has loathed and despised any person who even attempts watching her for us. nate and i took dean for some alone time to the new harry potter. mecah did great. we will definitely be doing this again!
sun, july 15
surprise birthday party for my mom's 60th! kansas city barbeque and lots of time in the pool. another viewing of hp with my stateside brothers and their so's. mecah slept the entire time! fantastic day.

i finished ALL of the laundry.
tues, july 17
took mecah and the boys (dean and gage, the boy i sit for) on a 2 mile hike with some friends of ours with the hopes of wearing them out! spent the rest of the day at the free wading pool in the neighborhood park.
wed, july 18
spent the whole day at the park, packed a picnic lunch and we bounced around between playing in the sandbox, on the equipment and tennis with lots of time in the pool, too.
it has been a good week.
