i sent that to my brother - the rebel - in italy. he's designing a store for dolce and gabana - can you frickin believe that? - anyway, they just told him no about something, and i'm pretty sure no is something that translates in many languages! this was perfect for him today. thanks for sharing.
btw, mecah has been obsessing with the scarf and cried when i tried to take it away to get a picture. she's even sleeping with it. i'll get some tomorrow! thank you again for the pretty scarf!!

I think what triggered me into becoming all ultra DIY was so many people saying No to me, LOL. Rejection is hard but it quite often forced me to examine why I was told No as well. This in turn helped me to take the blinders off my eyes in terms of myself...something I had to do in order to put change in effect. You can't change what you refuse to acknowledge. On the other hand, sometimes a No validated something about myself or my work or whatever, because I could tell it was sometimes not even about me, the rejection. For a wacked-out example sending a parenting story to a hunting magazine. Sometimes a No is because it's not the right people, place or thing. and maybe the right medium isn't there yet, and it's on you to create it.
