Grinding my own flax seeds
Flax seed oil is supposed to help with my Graves Disease. Something about the eye part. Have you ever seen someone with bulging eyes? They might've had Graves. I think 50% of people with Graves get the eye problems. So I gave up on the oil b/c it was so perishable and expensive. I bought organic seeds and grind them in a coffee grinder right before I eat them. Usually put them in a smoothie or in my oatmeal. Am I doing this right? I want to be sure that I'm getting the health benefits.

I think so. We do this too. We store our flax seeds in the fridge and then grind a bit for smoothies, etc. I think the key is to only grind as much as you will immediately use and not to cook it (unless you just want it as a fiber boost instead of for all the beneficial oils).
