Because of my medications and the small chance that DS could be taking some in, I've decided to start weaning. I'm not in a hurry. And I wouldn't mind just weaning during the day. But I have no clue where to begin. Yesterday we were so busy, that at the end of the day I was engorged and he had barely nursed all day. I don't think he's as attached as I thought he was. What should I be feeding him? Food has, until recently, been more entertainment that nutrition. This morning he had a scrambled egg, half of a banana, and about 4 oz of whole organic milk.
I wish I could nurse him till he was 2 or 3, but I can't continue knowing that I could be harming him.
Advice please.

It sounds like he sure nurses a lot,

so the slower you can go (I don't mean MONTHS or anything) the easier you can both get the hang of it. askdrsears.com has a good chart of "first foods".

"but aside from those 2 things, everyday is 'steak and blowjob day' ummmm....minus the steak and blowjobs."
