Get out of the cold and bask in the creativity and community at mothers alliance for mutual aid (m*a*m*a)'s FUNdraiser on Friday, February 23rd. Handmade arts, crafts, zines, comics and baked goodies will be sold to benefit our (almost) annual Mothers Day event, Mamas Rising Up!(our annual reclamation of Mother’s Day as an activist holiday that celebrates caregivers). Also a kid’s art area, tarot readings and a kissing booth (suggested donation). East Village Inky/No Touch Monkey/Dirty Sugar Cookies author Ayun Halliday will be selling zines, onesies, t-shirts and more.

Socialize and support your neighborhood radical mamas and families. At ABC No Rio, 156 Rivington Street, LES, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Kids encouraged! Donations of art are appreciated. Email mamariseup@yahoo.com if you want to contribute.
