I got mugged today

I was walking into the store and I heard this human kind of grunt yell and then I felt my arm being tugged on and then this guy running with my purse and another purse. About ten feet away all of a sudden this HUGE man runs past me (think the rapper Bonecrusher) and grabs the skinny little pissant who stole my purse and this seventy year old womans purse, grabs him by the back of the head and slams him on the concrete and puts his knee in his back and yells for his friend to call the police. The little pissant is yelling "Get off me! Get off me!" All the while my hero holds him down while the police arrive two minutes or so later. The only thing my dude says to the theif was, "Man, shut the fuck up" The man that saved my purse with my bank stuff, my only car keys and all my expendable money along with the others turned out to be a ex U of M football player named Hamar Washington. U of M football players are known to be some of the best outside the NFL.
I had to sit there in the back of the car while being interviewed and waiting and it took almost two hours and now I have to go to court. Hamar broke his nose on teh concrete tackeling him. The assailants name is Gary. Gary wanted to press charges against Hamar. The police thought that was funny. They also thought it was funny that Gary was pissed that the cops were planning on just leaving his bike outside the Cash Advance for anybody to take. They didn't think it was funny that there were twelve incidents like this and he fit the suspect everytime.
The officer said he will be cahrged with assault because while he was robbing us he used force even if it didn't hurt and that just me and Grandma would be 2-4 years.
When asked out of curiosity why Hamar did what he did, He said something like 'First of all, thats what I was supposed to do and my Grandma gets social security and doesn't buy anything for herself all year long so that she can buy everyone in our family Christmas presents, when I saw what he did, I thought of my Grandma and I saw her buying presenst for her kids."
I told him I would like to take him out to dinner, but he humbely declined.
