what do i give kim for snoty flu?
she has snot to her chin every five minutes and she keeps whiping her face and getting it everwhere and thers dried boogers in her hair and shes miserable and can't nurse cus she can't breathe and then gets pissed at me like its my fault. Anything you would suggest other than dipetap? She also is aclittle hoarse, no fever, needy but not listless. still wanst to waddle around destroying things and leave a snot trail wherever she goes.

i second the steam but add some vapo rub.they make the shower ones now where you just toss in the tub and let the hot water hit it.

or douse a hot washcloth with eucalyptus oil and put it in the shower, so the scent gets into the steam. it really helped me and DD when we were doing the snotfest tango last month.
I think it's 'c plus cold care'. You have to give a ton of them at first, but then it does help.
but some people say it does for them...
we bought a nebulizer and do regular breathing treatments for Owen who has had a terrible cough for the last three months (seriously).
The nebulizer hasn't really worked but I do have friends who swear by it.
