I studied for my Business Law test

and I think I did pretty well on it. What kind of limits are you setting?

***the United States is one of only four out of 168 countries studied to not have some form of paid family leave for new moms. We join Swaziland, Papua New Guinea, and Lesotho in not having that policy in place. ***

Hmmm...

I turned an attic room into an "art studio" for me. Only me! My own room! I'm excited about it and still need to paint but it's been something I've wanted to do since we moved in, so I guess I'm kind of glad HM was down for a couple days....Kind of.

Also went through the kids rooms and got rid of alot of toys they no longer play with and gave the nicer ones to "THe Giving Tree". (A local place that gives to needy families)

And made Thanksgiving crafts with the kids. Constuction paper turkeys everywhere!

let's see

-worked everyday, 3 shifts totalling about 20hrs
-canned 14 jars of applesauce for xmas gifts
-bought lots of groceries, half of them an attempt to stock up for my maternity leave when I will have no paycheck
-watered my sad plants
-found out that I don't actually know when my due date really is now, which seriously complicates my work situation...

let's see.

well, I had already been setting some time limits for myself a few weeks prior so I had a little groove going already. New MySpace that placenta set up was also a good little fallback (lol)

Cleaned out 3" of green scum water from my outdoor fountain with M. we both took little buckets and scooped out the water. It makes me remember little projects like that are actually FUN for a three year old.

Sorted and regrouped toys then put them up on a shelf (rotating)

Sold my pop up tent trailer on craigslist and bought a small travel trailer to replace it. I can't wait for our first camping trip this Thanksgiving weekend. We're BBq'ing a turkey at the beach with 3 other families.

Found and bought an old school camping/stovetop perculator! Going to try iit this am.
No instructions? Anyone? Tips? Same typical measure (1 round tbls per cup a water?)

bathed the mutts.

*Appreciate those who sit around you, for all their faults and their wonders.
