i found these things called "peepee teepees" online today while shopping for a baby shower gift. they look so cute! little "teepee" you put over your little guy while changing diapers. i couldn't stop cracking up. also finished operating instructions:a journal of my sons first year by anne lamott. my brother gave it to me as a mothers day gift this year, but didn't start it until last week. great book! i recommend it. i always feel sad when i finish a book that i've become emotionally invested in. i know it sounds crazy, but it feels like i've endured some sort of loss when i finish them. finally, ms.q was so freakin cute at breakfast this morning. while she was slurping down her "yobaby yogurt", she asked, "where b-git?...where b-git?". (back story:she loves to look at the babys on the front of the packaging and i always tell her the babys names) she was referring to one of the baby's named bridget. i couldn't believe she remembered! one of those little things you say and don't think will ever mean anything, but it meant something to her and stuck with her. i love my dd<3<3<3
