okay, I have grats.
Finally! I mean to make a list, but, well I just haven't been feeling it. but first on my list is:
1- Hipmama. Seriously, I haven't been on that long, but you guys make me laugh out loud, yes that's right lol, every. day.
2- Making an ass out of myself every day (see I include these both in my routine) and feeling like maybe I wouldn't be half as accomplished if I didn't.
3-Low-income housing! In Davis! In a co-op! Low-income housing that doesn't scare/depress the hell out of me! Keep your fingers crossed, ladies, I just may get my ass out of this house soon enough.
4- But if I do have to live with my parents, living with my mom who is cool enough to laugh about catching me in the car, on the driveway, doing something totally indecent with a very nice and unsuspecting young man. After the fact, that is. No really, this really did happen. Yes, I felt like I was fifteen again.
5- A nice boy who I can dig w/o feeling stressed and crazy about it. Pretty novel, huh?
6- School, even if I do slack off sometimes. Textbooks rock my world. And having a class with one of my best friends, who is crazy motivated and keeps me on track, if just in the one class. heh.
7- Feeling like maybe I'm willing to give life a very good try for a bit, and sort shit out. You know, as far as people go, I'm not that bad of one. Even if I am poor as hell
8- My son, who looks to be of the resilient type. I'm sure he will survive me, and will probably actually thank me when his novel is a best seller. We're so controversial, don't you know. Well, not really. But we have a good time.
Glad life is going well & you are getting booty, even if it is in a car
Great list...your son WILL survive you, thank you, and enjoy the adventures! I grew up with only my mama, poor as hell, and now appreciate her more than I ever thought possible. If for anything, she gave me a backbone and the ability to laugh at anything in life...even with no electricity.
