For the last week or so Flora(all of 17 months) has been showing some interest in the toilet. She toddles into the bathroom and I'll ask her if she wants to have a pee and then she'll willingly sit on the toilet, make a little grimace/grunt and PEE IN THE TOILET.
AAAAAAA!!!!
The cherry on this is this morning she let out a big fart right before she got on the toilet and after 10 minutes of her happily sitting reading a sparkly Dora pop up book (yah for Dora!) she had peed and pooped in the toilet. After she got off she examined the contents of the toilet with serious fascination and then I showed her how to flush the toilet. We came down stairs to the boys and I said "guess who had a poop on the potty", to which Flora said very clearly "potty". Callum and Devon (poor guy, he's not feeling to well today so he gets the morning cartoons to veg in front of--and Callum is wishing Devon could be sick eveyday) didn't even look up from their cartoon but it was momentous for me
Wa ha ha ha ha ha ha.
After toilet training two boy at around 2.5 years I so totally did not expect this. I think I'm going to play it cool and ask her maybe 3-4 times a day if she needs to use the toilet. I really do not want to jinx this :)

Yay, Flora!
Yay, Meg! That's great and I completely understand about not wanting to jinx it.
