Gotta Do Some Grats!
Cuz' even though I feel like I am paddling upstream in my life, I am actually feeling pretty good today:
1. Avoided speeding ticket yesterday evening. (Tickets have gotten really expensive - like $129.00!)
2. Day 3 of undies!!!
3. Husband is getting out of the house and playing in a golf tournament. He won't be home until after dark! Yay. He needs to get out and I need some time away from him.
4. My friend, D, is coming over for a glass of wine and a light dinner with S and I after work.
5. Coffee.
6. Weather was perfect this morning. Ahhhhh... I think we'll plan a picnic breakfast for tomorrow.
7. Cute kid voices singing.
8. Wearing my favorite summer top. I thrifted it a couple of years ago and it is a riot of colors.
9. Called to make an appointment for work and the people were really receptive to my new art line!
10. Looking forward to my birthday weekend. My mom is taking S all day Saturday and Sunday.

I read this, and then reread this, and thought, "Hmm - I don't know if I'd be grateful if I'd been wearing the same undies for three days." Then I thought - oh - she means her DD is wearing them...

You know, when I wrote that I realized it might be confusing. Ooops.
Yes, it is day 3 of undies for S. I am changing mine regularly. Still wearing the granny pants (and those blasted pads) and waiting for when I can go back to my beloved thongs (Sorry, Sunflower!).
Although, I gotta say a two-year old butt sure looks cute in underwear!
