I'm new to this area from Baltimore. I live in Sturgeon Bay. Still trying to discover and connect with the area and meet some like-mined friends.

but I wasn't a mama then. Boy it is a good place to have a family but it is NOT progressive at all, I found my lefty self feeling lonely. Had a few great progressive friends though and I grew up near there so I had family to fall back on. it really is beautiful country.

I'm not in the Sturgeon Bay area, but I am from Wisconsin. I'm about 40 minutes south of Green Bay.

How are you liking our fine state and what brought you here?

Do you live in Appleton? I know another hip mama in that area if you are interested.

My husband and I moved here last November when he got a job in Algoma. We are moving there this summer.

I really like WI. We used to live in Baltimore, so it is a big change and has taken some getting used to, but we wanted a slower pace of life. I am especially excited about Spring and Summer when all the farmer's markets are open.

What do you do?

I agree, I cannot wait until the Farmer's Markets open each year. Nothing says Spring/Summer like fresh fruit from a farm!!
