Help! Birthday Gift Idea Needed
So my really dear friend is turning 30 in two weeks, and I want to give her a little something. Problem is, I'm broke. Really broke. As in, we're not sure how we're going to buy groceries come the end of the month (we only get paid once a month).
Also, I have NO special craft talents. I can't knit, sew, crochet, paint, or even, really, match colors. My girlfriends go shopping with me and help me with decorating decisions. I'm that pathetic.
So whatcha got, Ladies? Any good ideas?
P.S. And she doesn't have any kids so I can't volunteer sitting or anything like that. Also, I give crappy massages and can't cook for shit. Really, I'm pretty useless. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure why my friends keep me around. For Entertainment Purposes Only, I guess.
Ie: get in touch with all her other friends to organzie a party and/or provide the location for one, or some other version of doing the legwork and collaborating with friends who have money but no time?

Write her something like what an awesome friend & person she is, how much she means to you, etc.

Only my friend is turning 40 today!
Okay...
If your friend has no kids you could arrange to have your kid(
babysat and give her the gift of YOU. Take a walk, look through a photo album, make her dinner, paint her nails, give her a manicure...do something just the two of you.
Write her a list of 30 things you treasure/like about her and your friendship with her.
Give her something of yours she's always admired.
