I'm glad that you're curious about that entry. Here's the deal with the sourcing. I work in the magazine publishing business. My boss (the company president) got that from a woman who works at a company that advertises in our magazines; coincidentally, it's a company that I *used* to work for and know the people there well. She spends a lot of time in the NOLA area, and has many friends and connections there. The original mail was sent to her by a personal friend. So, in short, though it's a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend scenario, I have
'references' for the person who really wrote it. If there are any doubts about this, I'd be happy to pass along the addresses of the people involved.

My DH sent it to me. I have no idea where he gets things like this. I know he peruses (sp?) the blogs often at work...
