Description
Boil lentils, cover and turn heat to low, simmer 1 hour. Heat oil, add chillies and ginger. Fry 10 seconds. Add cilantro and spinach. Put in cooked lentils and salt. Cook 25 minutes covered. thanks for posting this sug (i have taken to thinking of you as "sug" a la flo in "Alice") the ingredients are mostly cheap, which is great. i need cheap food, yet with a variety of flavors. if you have anything more with an indian flair, i'd be very interested. i was watching a travel show about mexico last night, and they spent a long time on all the corn-based foods they have. every fall i become enthusiastic about domestic persuits, including good meals on a budget. i adore lentils, but my repertior with them is limited...
