At least we aren't alone...

Seriously...it's after 1am and I'm stuck watching CNN. I'm so freaking disgusted with this whole thing. I think we should shove that silver spoon up his ass and throw him to the people at the Convention Center in New Orleans. I'm just so incensed by the fact that this is happening almost a WEEK after the hurricane. People are dying for God's sake. I hope that the entire administration gets raked over the coals for this.
There are people still on roofs and balconies, not just in N.O. but in parts of Mississippi as well. Can't they at least do a food/water drop for these people?
I'm just unable to comprehend how this could happen. I realize how quickly this storm accelerated and how little time people had to evacuate, but it's ridiculous that they're not able to get these people out, to get them water at least. Something.
When will it be time to get any answers from the administration? I can't just hold W responsible...it's all of them at this point.
Thanks for listening to the rant...I'm just broken-hearted for these people.

Remember that you are unique, just like everyone else.
but I read that letter to Bush from the governor, and she specifically says, according to the Weather Center, a Category V Hurricane will hit New Orleans. We do not have the resources at the state level to deal with this. (paraphrasing) Whether or not it came up fast, they knew what they were dealing with AND had warning. Like others have mentioned, what in the hell would we do in a terrorist attack if this is the best we can do in a known natural disaster?
I'm with you, Pelli. I am so disgusted I can hardly stand it. I was obsessed with it yesterday. The more I read, the more disgusted I became. I truly believe that George W. Bush will go down as one of our worst presidents in history. From ignored intelligence that planes were going to be flown into the World Trade Center, to a war founded on lies and "faulty intelligence", to this travesty in New Orleans, he has a lot of blood on his hands.

When did smoke learn how to fly?
