The computer geeks I run around with often hear it as "hit" nstead of "hip" when I say what I do.... it can take years to straighten out the confusion.

But they are afraid of me regardless, so there ya go.

Back when I was very involved with working on the site, my bf's brother thought it was HotMama, which apparently is some kind of porn site. He (a gay man) was doubly disgusted - by the content alone, and by the thought that I was involved in editing it. I was relieved to clear that one up.
