I was having trouble posting them. Thanks for noticing my tan! I have been spending alot of time at the Guadalupe River this summer. I am very proud of it, and my DH's family is like "Yeah, right, a tan...":)

I have lost quite a bit, thank you. :)Slowly but surely that baby weight is coming off. I have about eight more pounds of baby weight to go, but I am not going to worry myself too much, I am sure it will continue to peel off, since we are doing alot of swimming and hiking.

But he is a stick straight blonde haired blue eyed ex -surfer boy from Hawaii. I am biracial and come from a curly blonde haired blue eyed mamma, who the boys look very much like. ( My dad clearly was African American) So, although most people who don't know the family assume that they get their color/looks from DH, my genes had alot to do with it as well.

it's just wild how the genes work their ways through the generations. I am delighted everyday to watch more and more of my recessive washed out irish genes overpower the dominant olive skin/dark hair/ northern european jew genes of my boy's papa. I thought he would be all papa. My boy is going to have my red hair color, but thank god not the straight/knotting texture I have. My baby-daddy has the lusciuos curls like your boys, and everyday a new curl springs out on my baby's head. I love it! thanks for sharing!

Yes, Gavin is looking different lately. He is getting more of the toddler face, and less of the baby look. I was comparing these to the Eesta Bunny ones I posted, and he looks really different.

I am in denial about this mamas. I am such an overprotective Mama bear. I know that it is said that Dad's go nuts over their girls, DH and I are really overprotective over those boys. We keep telling eachother we have to allow them to date before they are 30:) Little girls usually get boy crazy first, and some of these little ones are already flirting with my oldest. Good thing he has no idea what is going on.
give him a couple more years, and he'll figure it out. but seriously, your boys are beautiful! those eyes, wow. and congrats too on your weight loss - you can flaunt it this summer! ; )
