I posted the whole story of the hospitalization over on http://www.foment.net
No songs of the day for me right now. I can't stand to listen to music yet.
One of the best things about the hospital I went to was that there was no muzak pumped into corridors and waiting rooms.
Over the weekend I ended up in the hospital with acute cholecystitis and cholelithiasis exacerbated by existing abdominal adhesions. In other words, my gallbladder freaked out and the scar tissue all over the place made the whole experience far more risky than might have been expected. I'm home now recovering from surgery. More details about my hospital adventures will follow when I can sit up for more than twenty minutes at a time - thanks in advance for all wishes contributing to a speedy recovery.
Roxy Music - "More Than This"
Mirah - "Recommendation"
Before you left to go away
I wrote down what I couldn't say
I bet you read it on the road
With foggy lights and fingers cold
Now you drove so far
But now you know
How rough it is to let me go
Let me recommend that you think twice
And I always give the best advice

Home from CMJ! It was strange and cold and crazy in NYC but I had a lot of fun. Full report to follow on foment.net
