um, when did they start putting stinky fragrances in their soaps? i mean, ivory is what you buy when you want soap. soap. you don't want to exfoliate, you don't want to moisturize, you don't want to deodorize, you don't want to invigorate or soothe, you want to wash your naughty bits without getting a rash because of fucking PERFUME! and you don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it because it's SOAP.

ugh!

and what are the alternatives? "natural" or health food store brands where you pay $3 a pop?

ass.

And I am TOTALLY with you. All my soaps, body and laundry are scent-free if at all possible!
I like 7th Gen mint lavendar dish soap, tho... :)
Mummy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird...

There's still plenty of good old fashioned Ivory soap to be had for people who like the simpler things. Its still the only kind of soap I buy. It has become harder to find the good stuff but Amazon sells these huge packs of it.

However, there seem to be more people who need soap to be more than just soap so they had to do something to stay competitive.
