Ink

So annoyed. Damn my "safe places." For 12 years I've carried around with me the sketch I made of the tattoo I want to get, in one bag or another. With the move from this last laptop bag to the current, I pulled it out and put it somewhere "safe."

Now I have the name of the awesome mama who does my sister-in-law's ink & I was going to ping her and ask a few questions and get my act together around this thing... and it's gone. No idea where. I guess it's not like the opportunity goes away, and I wouldn't have been able to do it this weekend while I'm in the same town as her probably anyway. And she'll be in my town in August which is enough time for me to approximately recreate the general idea but... 12 years. And for the first time in 12 years I have no idea.

It'll turn up. I wonder where I put it?

Haha, I lose things by putting them in safe places too! Cleaning sometimes helps because I stumble on the thing while I'm dusting the shelf it's on or whatever.

Either I put it in a "oh yes, how could I forget that I put it in this book" (like a journal, except it's not in my journal) or my underwear drawer (except it's not there) or... something. The universe's way of saying I've waited this long a little longer wouldn't be a bad thing... :)
