Poor DS had to go to the ER again for a dislocated elbow. This is his 2nd ER trip and 4th dislocation. We were working on a floor puzzle when he leaned back on his arm and it popped out. It took the DR two tries to get it back in this time but fortunately he bounces back as soon as it is fixed. We have been told many times to never try and pop it back in ourselves since you can do more permanent harm than good. The two times we did not have to go to the hospital it just popped out and then popped back in on its own. One time he had put his hand in his pocket and it became stuck when he tried to pull it back out causing his elbow to dislocate. I am worried since it seems to happy so easy. Who's elbow dislocates by leaning on it?
So now we have to make an appointment with a Pediatric Orthopedic DR to see what is going on.
