The ongoing baby naming debate lives on. We've cut out the rest of the family (thank God!), but my husband and I aren't finding that special name (or two names)that we BOTH LOVE.
Plenty we like, some one of us like more than the other of us...
Here are some on our list:
Story
Ava
Lilliane
Sophie
Mina
Kaiah
Zoe
Anyone have name suggestions they don't mind sharing?

Okay, so I've been known from time to time to have a bit of dandruff. Never really bad or a major issue, but lately - I don't know if it's the pregnancy or what! MY scalp is SO itchy and flakey and dry! I can't wear a black shirt - it's covered in white in minutes.
I've been trying home remedies. Sometimes they work for a day or two, but that's at best. 1st I tried lemon juice. Then baby shampoo. Then light body oil (I think that made me break out into a rash). Now it's soaking my scalp with coconut oil. So far the best remedy, but I have to do it every other day!

I'm starting to have anxiety attacks now over the fact that I can't breathe through my nose. It's been about 3 days now with no real relief. I've even tried over the counter stuff - even though I'm 19 weeks pregnant... taken Claritin, Benedryl, Tylenol, Afrin nasal spray, Vicks vapo rub, tried the netty pot (the water won't even come out my mouth from either nostril - just sits in my nose), tried burning Eucalyptus oil, and even went to acupuncture. Earlier, there was so much pressure in my sinuses and my face that I just couldn't wear my glasses.--read more >>

I have a while to wait before my baby is born. I'll be 18 weeks this weekend, but I'm starting to think about birthing plans and saw someone else had posted a blog about hers.
I have a 3 yr. old. With my 1st pregnancy, I had a midwife (I do now as well), and gave birth in a birthing room at the local county hospital and also had an epidural - the labor, while 10 hours, went very well and I was happy with everything. But I also know not all deliveries are the same. I'm a little nervous because I had it so easy the 1st time, I feel like it's got to be tougher this time. Is that crazy?!--read more >>

So, I'm still experiencing a good bit of nausea and vomiting. Having trouble getting to work in the mornings and my weekends are filled with naps and attempts to peel myself out of bed.
My husband has never been through a pregnancy with me - or anyone else really. Even if he was with me, my 1st was pretty easy breezy. No real nausea, puked once, I had lots of fiesty energy - all was good.
This time around I have not been so lucky as the first. So this is all new for me and my husband is really worried and on me to call my midwife all the time.--read more >>

OKay Mama's. I'm early in my pregnancy (10 weeks), but my husband and I have started getting into the name discussion. We have several girl names we both like, but CANNOT agree on a boy's name.
anybody want to start throwing some boy names out for us?
He likes names like: Moses, Juilius, & Irving (there is a basketball theme there)
I like names like: Dexter, Mayan, & Cai...

My 3 year old son is having some real pooping issues. We took him to the ER this week because he was screaming and crying in pain. He was given a fleet enema and we were there for 3 to 4 hours while my son screamed and cried until something large came out!--read more >>

I am very early in my 2nd pregnancy (probably 6 - 8 weeks). My 1st was pretty much a breeze. If I felt nauseous - I ate and that took care of that. I felt strong, beautiful and confident and was told so very often that I was glowing...--read more >>

My 3 year old son has some intense fears and I thought he'd outgrow them, but they are not getting any better.
His fear of the doctor is one, but I feel that that is warranted (doctor's and nurses have done some pretty mean stuff to him - shots, surgery, etc.).
Then there's the haircut issue...--read more >>

So I wanted to put this out there just to see what kind of answers I get...
How many of you had planned pregnancies and how many of you were surprised?
I'm newly married and have a 3 year old and my husband wants a baby soon - he also wants a puppy, but that's another blog all together! I would LOVE to have another child, but am torn about when. Do I wait for my son to start school? Do we get a dog 1st? Do I just stop taking the pill and let the chips fall where they may? I know the decision is ultimately mine, but it's always nice to have a sounding board.--read more >>

I feel like such the Ebineezer! My son, who is now 3, absolutely LOVES the snow! As any kid does, but I absolutely detest it! Don't get me wrong, I love to look at it out the window of our heated home while drinking, hot cocoa, tea or coffee, but I am instantly shivered to the bone when I'm out there. I'm hoping daddy will take on much of the outdoor snow play - I'll take care of the indoor snuggling for them both

Just wanted to say hello to all. I'm new here and I'm hoping having some place to share all of my good and bad will help me cope with the craziness of Mamahood.
I'm currently reading Ariel's Hip Mama book and loving it! It's so comforting to know that I'm no crazier than any other parent... and it's NOT me, this IS hard (and wonderful, and confusing, and painful, and joyous...)!
Thanks to all of the Mamas
