Hello mamas! Hope everyone had a nice day off yesterday. In my house that just means I have a lot of work to do today!
Done:
Picked up play room
Cleaned bathroom
2 loads of laundry done and folded and put away

To Do;
Load dishwasher
prep dinner stuff
go buy eggs
Vaccumm LV, playroom, my room and DS room
Organize shelves
clean up computer area
Prep for DH birthday party tomorrow nite

We are so broke because we are closing that we had to groceries on the credit card...
Thre were more than a few questions about jam stuff so here goes:
1. I do sell my jam other than locally.(I usually sell for $5 a jar and offer to ship in a flat rate box for the fee of $10)
2. I had an etsy shop but did not sell much so, I have not posted there in awhile.

Hey here is my good:
1. We are just weeks away from owning our own house
2. We are healthy
3. We have good friends
4. I have 2 more canning classes coming up
5. I have so much jam it is coming outta my ears

Here is the bad:
1. We are flat broke and don't know if we have enough for our closing
2. I have not sold a lot of jam lately
3. The stress of it all is seriously affecting my relationship
4. Instead of being supportive I have been lashing out at DH.
5. DS is acting badly as a result of all of this.

Okay mamas give me your good and bad.

Its actually snowing here, no accumulation or anything but what they heck!

Happy things:
1. We are going out for a few hours tonight without the kiddo.

3. The thought of planting the raspberry bushes and grapevines I bought for the new house.

5. Money that I earned for a weekend at Miss Bike and Burley's, next weekend.

I can't remember if I mentioned it before, but I am teaching a jam class at my son's preschool Sat. I am not getting paid a lot, but hopefully I can..haha(a little canning humor there), sell some jam. Most everyone coming has either had some or heard about my jam. This is the first time I have ever done something like this and I am so nervous. Luckily I know most of the women, and there will be wine and stuff there, so that should make for a pretty easy crowd. I wrote an eight page tutorial for them to take home and I have been trying to make sure I can(haha)answer everyone's questions.--read more >>

We got the house! I guess we could even have a goat if we wanted! We close sometime in MAY. It was pretty painless, and they straight up accepted our offer. I am practically picking out baby chicks right now..lol
Thanks mamas, vibes really are magical.

We think we have found the place. Its in the neighborhood we want. It has a yard the size of a football field roughly. We can have chickens there, and a gigantic garden. A good sized kitchen and a garage for DH to tinker in. We will be putting in our bid. Here's hoping they will accept it.

I don't ask for them often, usually when we are sick. But, DS had to go to the hospital last nite. He was sooo sick, and could not hold anything down, including water. He had not peed in 12 hours so we took him in. They gave him IV fluid, two giant bags! They pretty much did not say they were not going to keep him because we have no insurance, but that was the the reason, I mean who sends a kiddo home with a 103 temp?--read more >>

Thought I would share this super yummy recipe for our
Blue Muffins

1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons honey
2 eggs
2 medium mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3 tablespoons ground flax seed
1 1/2 cups smashed blueberries

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour mini muffin pans. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, bananas, and bluberries. Mix in all dry ingredients and blend well. Bake for 15-20 min. Makes about 6 dozen mini muffins.
