Hi folks, it's me the TechMama Lynn, messing things up as usual.

You may note that the look of the site has changed a little. I've tried to declutter a little to improve the experience. Most of what you're used to seeing on the right has now either moved to the left (navigation and login, under the adstrip) or the bottom (who's on, who's new, and various links to other stuff). If you find bugs, let me know here.

ALSO, AND THIS IS IMPORTANT! I'm helping with the advertising here, trying to help keep the doors open. We're running two sales, one on the ads to the left, one on the ads that will start appearing at the bottom of each story just before the comments. Hi folks, techMama Lynn here. I think this time I got it right. I've been banging on it behind the scenes most of today. I still have a few things to clean up, but I thought I'd give you back most of the site. Please bang on it and tell me what's broken HERE. ps: I also think I discovered why the site keeps going down/slowing up, and I think I fixed it. double yay!
